Chinatown in San Francisco is considered as the oldest Chinatown in North America. It is also one of oldest and the largest Chinese communities outside Asia. It was established in 1850s and featured popular culture venues like music, films, literature and photography. Also, this town is the most prominent centers of Chinese activity outside of China, officially located in downtown San Francisco.
