Haight Street is situated in San Francisco and is best known as the principal street in Haight-Ashbury district in San Francisco. The street stretches from Stanyan Street to Market Street at Golden Gate Park. This street is named after the California exchange banker and pioneer, Henry Haight. There are numerous exclusive boutiques and hip restaurants worth visiting here. Once here, one can also enjoy the Haight Street Fair, if visiting the San Francisco city in the month of June. This fair features local bands, shopping and many such amenities. Other than that, the street is famous amongst the locals for shopping, dining and having total fun.
