The Huntington Library, art collections and botanical gardens is an educational and research institution established by Henry E Huntington in 1919. Along with the library, the site has an art collection which has English portraits and French 18th century furniture and botanical gardens. The garden has strong collection of cycads of North America. The library has an extensive collection of rare manuscripts and books and thousands of documents on Abraham Lincoln. The Huntington library is inside a private nonprofit institution founded by Henry E Huntington. This library places many other great treasures which are on view for the general public. One of the additions to the library is the Munger Research Center.
