The elephant seal colony at Piedras Blancas has over 7,500 elephant seals. It is a rich educational opportunity for the visitors of all ages. Led by trained docents, the visitors can get up close and personal with these creatures as they strive on the sandy shores of the Central Coast. The seals can be seen from 0800 to sunset year round. It is a great place never to be missed.
