Santa Barbara Streets and Neighbourhoods: information about Riviera

The Riviera in Santa Barbara, California is among the most esteemed real estate neighborhoods in the city. The Riviera bridges the two-mile span between Mission and Sycamore Canyons. Its name derives from the view’s resemblance to Mediterranean coasts in Italy, which certainly intensifies the hype surrounding the area’s reputation.  The spectacular hillside view of the city, mountains, sea and islands is unparalleled and exponentially raises the value of homes in this area. The homes themselves consist of spectacular Spanish tile roofing, vibrant architecture and vivid landscaping. The tree-lined streets enhance the high-end feel of the neighborhood.

With such a coveted view, Riviera homes come with an understandably steep price.  The average price range is between $900,000 and $3,000,000. Not only is this a vast price gap, but it isn’t exactly affordable for most middle-class incomes. Needless to say, the remarkable neighborhood and view comes with a price, but if you can afford it, it’s certainly worth it.
