The Lobero Theatre is situated in a historic building in the Californian city of Santa Barbara. It was founded by José Lobero.
Originally an opera house, it was reconstructed in Spanish Colonial Revival style by architects Lutah Maria Riggs and George Washington Smith. The theatre hosts a number of cultural and art events all through the year.
The theater is specially suited to chamber music for its live acoustics and comparatively small size. The Music Academy of the West conducts a large number of its summer concerts in this theater.
