Santa Clarita lies in Los Angeles County in California with a population of 177,158 and it’s the 4th largest city. It is situated at northwest downtown in Los Angeles, and encompasses much of the Santa Clarita Valley.
The Golden State and Antelope Valley freeways form its main boundaries, which merge at the southernmost point of the Newhall Pass of the city giving Santa Clarita a peculiar triangular shape on the map.
Santa Clarita enjoys a mild climate, with warm and dry summers and temperate and semi-moist winters. It is ranked as the 6th safest city in the US by the FBI.
Santa Clarita's most famous attractions include the Six Flags Magic Mountain amusement park which is situated just outside the city boundaries in the county of Los Angeles, and the California Institute of Arts.
Due to its close proximity to Hollywood, Santa Clarita Valley has been a favourite location for the producers of serials, TV Episodes and commercials.
