Santa Monica Beach, located along ‘Santa Monica Bay’; has been surrounded on 3 sides by Los Angeles City. At Santa Monica Beach, one would find Santa Monica Hippodrome, i.e. carousel in the form of a ‘National Historic Landmark’. It, in fact, rests on ‘Santa Monica Pier’; that had been constructed in the year 1909. La Monica Ballroom upon this pier had once been the biggest ballroom all over the US.
