Luther Burbank Home and Gardens is a city park famous for its gardens, greenhouse, and the grave of noted horticulturist Luther Burbank.
The park can be visited daily free of charge, but, guided tours require nominal fees. It is recognized as one of the National Historic Landmarks.
The gardens include a collection of cactus, medicinal herbs, fruit trees, roses, walnuts and ornamental grasses.
The Redwood Empire Ice Arena is a popular indoor ice ridge. Various activities like public skating, figure skating, private ice time, junior hockey and adult hockey are provided in the arena.
The annual Snoopy's Senior World Hockey Tournament is also hosted here.
Snoopy's Gallery and Gift Shop, just across from the parking lot, is where people can purchase Peanuts-related products and sports equipment for figure skating and ice-hockey.
Annadel State Park offers many recreational activities within its property. It also boasts of the best showcase for undisturbed northern oak woodlands.
During any season of the year visitors can enjoy the park's varied wildlife and scenery but April to June is considered the best season for sightseeing as most wildflowers bloom during this period.
