Bolsa Chica, located along with the rest of Huntington Beach, has some of the best birding of the nation. A fabulous 321 out of the 420 bird species of Orange County were sighted in the Huntington Beach in the past decade. The Bolsa Chica Conservancy is a non-political, non-profit organization whose mission is to advocate the preservation and restoration of the Bolsa Chica Wetlands through leadership, education, participation and public outreach.
