Tourist Guide Studio City

Studio City, a four-square-mile district is located in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles in California. The city is surrounded by Ethel Avenue towards the west, Santa Monica Mountains and Mulholland Drive towards the south and Highway 101 towards the north and east. The city received its name when Mack Sennett shifted his studios from Edendale to Ventura Boulevard and Colfax Avenue. According to San Fernando Valley Almanac, the district has a large population group and many households. The racial make up comprises of white, Latino, Asian and African American. Some of the famous personalities who worked at the Studio City were D.W Griffith, Ben Turpin, Mabel Norman, Carole Lombard and many more. Studio City was established by the film industry. At the beginning of the new century, Studio City had established as the real center of the San Fernando Valley.
