Yet another attraction is the Northstar at Tahoe. It is a resort located adjacent to the Northern Coast of Lake Tahoe, which is roughly 320 kilometres from San Francisco Bay Area. It is operated throughout the year. The features of this resort are a cross-country skiing area, a snowmaking arrangement, a golf course, lift-based mountain Bike Park and on-site housing facilities. Northstar attracts a huge crowd of skiers with youth and learners on the front.
