Lake Tahoe, one of the attractions of Tahoe City is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It is one of the largest freshwater lakes. It is a lake of high altitude in North America. The lake is renowned for the clearness of its water and also for the viewpoint of the mountains surrounding it on all the sides. It consists of numerous ski resorts, summer out-of-door recreation and hence serves as a tourist spot, especially for both Nevada and California.
