Madrona Marsh is a nature preserve and one of the country’s few wetlands.
Located centrally in the city, Torrance Beach lies between Redondo Beach and Malaga Cove and is a great tourist attraction. Del Amo Fashion Centre, occupies around 2.5 million square feet and is considered to be one of the largest malls in the US. Many films were shot in the mall premises.
The Armed Forces Day Parade, which is held annually on Armed Forces Day is considered to be the longest running military parade sponsored by a city. The parade features school bands, military vehicles and well-known community members.
A European-themed restaurant, Alpine Village, is a shopping complex and market that also hosts a popular TV show ‘Oktoberfest’ demonstrating the beer brewed on site. The City at Columbia Park plays host to various soccer tournaments, and is one of the largest regional parks.
