Joshua Tree National Park
This park is situated in south eastern part of California. It obtained the status of US National Park in the year 1994. Before that, it was recognized as a US National Monument. This status lasted between 1936 and 1993. A huge portion of this park has been dedicated to ‘wilderness area’. The southwestern side of the park is covered by Little San Bernardino Mountains.
29 Palms Art Gallery
29 Palms Art Gallery has been owned as well as operated by 29 Palms Artists’ Guild since the year 1963. Art shows get featured on a monthly basis between September and May. Summer Show gets displayed between June and August. This guild hosts weekly ‘paint-outs’, fund-raising events (seasonal), monthly receptions, and, not to forget, art classes for every age. Visitors can look out for South-western jewelry in the Gift Shop. The timings of this Art Gallery are as follows:
Wednesday to Sunday: 12:00 to 15:00.
