The Metro Red Line is a heavy rail rapid transit line in Los Angeles. It is one of the Los Angeles’s two rapid transit lines and the busiest of the five Metro Rail lines. This modern heavy rail subway travels under Downtown Los Angeles from Union Station to the Civic Center to Westlake district. There are two line directions, one towards Mid Wilshire and another to Hollywood and San Fernando Valley.
