Tourist Guide Vacaville
Vacaville is situated at Solano County, California, United States, among San Francisco and Sacramento. According to 2000 census the total population of the city was 88,625. As of the report presented by the Community Development Department of Vacaville the estimated total population of the year in 2005 was around 96,735. The metropolis was discovered by William Mc Daniel in the year 1852 and was named Vacaville after Juan Manuel Vaca. The metropolis is famous for its yearly Vacaville Fiesta and retail shopping. The University of California is situated just twenty miles away from the northeastern region of the city. The city was once home to several local farms and production companies which boomed due to the rich soil of the Vaca Valley. Tourists can see numerous endangered and rare species at Vacaville. As of the United Sates Census Bureau, the total area of the city is about 70.1 km2. The city owns one community college district, two public schools wards and private schools and colleges.
