The biggest attraction in Visalia is the Sequoia National Park located in Sequoia Valley. The national park is home to the most gigantic trees on Earth, the ‘Giant Sequoia'. Some of the trees in this category are so huge that humans look like small creatures in front of them.

A large number of tourists visit the park every year. The city of Visalia has more than 23 parks, spread over an area of 220 acres. The Mooney Grove Park is the biggest woodland of valley oak in the State. The park offers breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The park also is home to the Tulare County Mooney Grove Museum.

Tourists can learn about the rich cultural and natural heritage of Visalia city and Tulare County in the museum. There is yet another museum located in the city. This is Tule River Historical Society Museum. Visitors can see an array of historical artefacts dating back to the 20th century. Nature lovers can enjoy boating in the Kaweah Lake.
