West Covina lies in eastern Los Angeles in California, USA.
The city is the fiftieth largest city of California and covers an area of 16.1 sq miles with a total population of 105,080 people as per the 2004 census.
This diverse city has a booming economy with several large businesses doing well such as the Big League Dreams Sportsplex, Mercedes-Benz and Regal Entertainment. This is due to its highly accessible motorways, affordable housing, availability of skilled labour, competitive rental rates and land prices and a strong client base.
The city experiences warm summers and cool, humid winters with July being the warmest month and December the coldest.
Before the 2nd World War, the city was a small rural town where livestock was raised, and wheat and walnuts were grown, but now there is rapid development and urbanization.
