Yosemite National Park provides for the ideal backdrop for hiking or driving, like the scenic drive on the Tioga Road, leading to the picturesque Tuolumne Meadows. The hiking trails in the region have been clearly marked and divided into five, namely, Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, Tuolumne Meadows, Hetch Hetchy and White Wolf.
Visitors with a penchant for rock climbing should visit Camp-4, situated in Yosemite Valley. During winter, the visitors get an opportunity to indulge in skiing in places like the Badger Pass Ski Area.
Get a taste of the local culture by visiting the Yosemite Museum. It provides an insight into the Miwok and Paiute people and their lifestyle. Visit the National Historic Landmark of LeComte Memorial Lodge, which, apart from other things, provides environmental education and evening programs.
