Charles Town races and slots have over 3,800 slot machines, live entertainment, races, dining area and a lot of shopping can be done here.
It is a nice experience to see a place like this. Another entertainment venue could be the Jefferson County Memorial park which was incorporated in 1949 by the land given as donation by Late Dr. (Mrs.) G. P. Marison.
Historic museums and sites are enjoyed by the people who are in quest of some knowledge; some such places here would indeed help knowledge seekers.
Jefferson County Museum has a huge store of Civil war artifacts and has a lot of artifacts from the times of Native Americans to World War II.
There are a lot of other historic buildings here, some of them being Flagg House, Gibson - Todd House, Happy Retreat and Locke House.
This place is surrounded by towns that are beautiful, like Hagerstown, Arlington, Washington, Harpers Ferry and Martinsburg. There are very few places in the world that are interested in preserving heritage.
It is indeed nice to know that Charles town has an annual Heritage day Celebration. People enjoy being observers and participants equally.
