Take a city tour on the quaint Cheyenne Street Railway Trolley with its informative onboard guides. On your tour, you can see the famous Greenway, which is a system of paths linking the parks and gardens of the city. It is used by the residents for walking, bicycling or roller-blading.
The beautiful Cheyenne Botanic Gardens spreads for nearly 10 acres and is the only public garden in the state. From the gardens, you can visit the State Capitol Building with its sprawling design, perfect for a photograph. Learn more about the history of the city and the state at the Old West Museum and the Wyoming State Museum.
One of the main attractions of the city is the Cheyenne Frontier Days, which is a 10-day rodeo event held toward the end of July. It is the world’s largest outdoor rodeo and has carnivals and a host of other activities to delight patrons. Cheyenne also has many other seasonal festivals like OktoberFest and Christmas Parade.
