The Arvada Festival Playhouse is now converted into a theatre which hosts a number of award winning plays, concerts, musical and dance performances each year.
The outdoor area consists of a community park, wildlife exhibits, eighty acres of wetlands, lakes, walking trails and more. The Arvada Centre for Arts and Humanities is a historical museum which has a number of art galleries which feature art collections, paintings, fabrics, costumes and textile exhibits.
There is an outdoor amphitheatre with a seating capacity for more than a thousand people and an indoor theatre with a five hundred seating capacity. Arvada Flour Mill museum is another historical museum which houses a renovated flour mill and displays equipment used in the 1800s.
This museum has been registered with the National Register of Buildings.
