Aurora is located in the American state of Colorado. It’s governed jointly by the municipalities of three countries, Arapahoe, Adams and Douglas. This city occupies a large area of close to 370 sq km and houses a population of approximately 297,000. Aurora was founded in 1891 and was given the name Fletcher; it was given its present name in 1907.

The huge area of the city has a diverse topography that includes hills, lakes, rivers, forests and much more. Aurora experiences warm summers, while winters may be freezing cold. The maximum average temperature is around 30°C, while the minimum average temperature is approximately –8°C.

Aurora’s economy is booming on account of its several industries like aerospace and biotechnology. Also, the income from recreational facilities and educational institutions are important contributors to its economy.
