Ben Lomond is a place in the county of Santa Cruz in California. It has been declared as a census-designated place according to the U.S. administration. Ben Lomond is situated at a bare distance of 12 miles from the main point of Santa Cruz. It is also not far from the city of San Jose. The area measured in terms of land of this town is a meagre i.e. 2.2 square kilometres. The land type here is mountainous and this has helped this city for security reasons and also for preserving and retaining their customs over the years. The temperature here can be extreme especially in the months of January, when it is the coldest and in the month of August, which is the hottest month. The average rainfall that can be measured here is 52.09 cm. It also snows here for some parts of the year. The economic conditions have not developed partially due to its geography. Most of the youth wander out in search of a living or for further education.
