Boulder Creek is a creek which drains the Rocky Mountains to the west of Boulder in Colorado. It also travels to the city and its surrounding plains. The creek forms most of the natural beauty of downtown Boulder. Its famous summer recreational spot form most of the outdoor activities like fly fishing, tubing, and also wading. There is also a festival, the Boulder Creek Festival, which takes place during the summer time along the creek in Central Park. However, the creek is not suitable for rafting.
