Breckenridge has been the most famous ski area in North America for many years. In 2008, it had almost 1.63 million skier visits which made it the most famous ski area. It is also favored among international travelers. Further, the city is named as one of the top ski areas in the world by the BBC in 2006 and ranked as the ninth best resort in US in 2008 by SKI Magazine. There are tours, competition and also yearend titles held in Breckenridge. The town has evolved into a World Class ski and snowboard destination and has millions of visitors each year. Whether it is winter or summer season, the place is a definite place to enjoy a perfect vacation with family.
