The Country Boy Mine is located two miles north of downtown Breckenridge. The mine offers tours exhibiting the 19th century period. It is one of the largest and most famous gold mines in Breckenridge. Depending on the weather and traffic conditions this mine varies. The mine remains open in the winter and summer season. The mine is over thousand feet deep and it has forty-two degrees temperature all year around.
