Boreas Pass Road is a 6.55 mile route which is easy to travel and receives heavy traffic. It follows the old South Park and Pacific Railroad bed and travels past the Baker’s Tank to the Continental Divide summit. This is a scenic popular route which is used for passenger vehicles. Though it is unpaved, and scarred by many potholes, the route is taken on frequent basis. The altitude of the road is 10,306 feet with and elevation gain of 1,264 feet.
