The Garden Park Fossil Area is a natural center having many fossil excavation sites. These sites can be visited by following a guide in one’s car, or hiking trails. This site has fossils of most well known species of large dinosaurs which has been discovered over the last 120 years. Most of the fossils are on exhibit at museums around the country, like the Denver Museum of Natural History.
