The Royal Gorge Bridge is known as the highest suspension bridge in the world and also an unforgettable quarter mile journey through the clouds. The construction of the bridge began in June 9, 1929 and completed in November 1929. It is also listed on the National Historic Register. The park is a unique combination of natural adrenaline, scenic beauty and human achievement which must be seen to be believed. The park is the most visited them park and Wildlife Park in the Pikes Peak Region. Whilst in Canon City, the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park has to be the first attraction for the tourists.
