Cherry Creek Lake

For boating enthusiasts, Cherry Creek Lake is ideal with the boat ramps open March through October.  Fishing is popular with Walleye, Catfish, Bass, Trout and Carp known to swim the waters.  The marina offers boat rentals and bait for sale. The tranquil lake is perfect for water skiing enthusiasts, wakeboarders and jet skiers or those who just want to swim in the clear, clean waters.  Campground areas are available in the nearby park as well as picnic facilities.

Wildlife, including deer and regional bird species for viewing have been spotted in the area along the 35 miles of hiking trails.  During the winter, ice fishing is a popular sport as well as cross-country skiing on the 880 acre lake which is located only 10 miles southeast of Downtown Denver.  Entrance fee to the park is $9 a day or an annual pass for $73.
