Downtown Aquarium is the largest aquarium between California and Chicago and was formerly known as Colorado’s Ocean Journey is a public aquarium and even a restaurant which is situated in Denver. It is over 107,000 square foot of main building which sits on a 17 acre piece of land, adjacent to South Platte River. The marine aquarium and freshwater is 1,200,000 gallons and there are many exhibits with variety of fish and other animals.
