The gardens will delight flower, plant and cactus lovers with their hundreds of species of flowers from around the world, including those as far away from the gardens as Africa, Argentina and the Himalayas and as close as others native to Colorado and California.
Learn the secrets of sustainable gardening at the Water-smart garden, see the beauty of well-planned landscaping at the Rock Alpine Garden and be awed by the diverse non-traditional blooms in the Tropical Conservatory.
The 3-acre Mordecai Children’s Garden is an educational kid favorite for playing and learning. Summer hours are 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. In the winter from Dec. 2nd through Jan. 2, the gardens are open nightly from 5:30 - 9:30 where visitors will be treated to the visions of over a million lights strung for the holidays in the Blossoms of Light special event. Entrance fees are $9.50 adults, $6.50 children, under age 2, free.
