Only 15 miles west of Denver and set in the Rocky Mountain foothills is a one-of-a-kind acoustically perfect natural phenomenon, the Red Rocks Park Amphitheatre. The high quality of the sound is unparelled and rivals the incredible visuals at the site. Looming sandstone rocks formed nearly 300 million years ago encircle the theatre and are named for their originality. They include the 300 foot each Creation Rock, Ship Rock and Stage Rock. The sounds of legendary performers including the Beatles, Sting, Stevie Nicks, STYX and Chicago have been heard live in this outdoor space where the stage is only 20 feet from the front row. No matter what seat you occupy, the experience will leave a lifetime impression. Film on the rocks is also a popular outdoor screening of movie event held at the amphitheater.
