Denver is said to be the City of Festivals, with at least two festivals taking place every month. The city proudly displays its ‘Mile High’ title with a gold band embedded in the steps leading to the downtown State Capitol building.
The Denver Botanic Gardens boasts of around 32,000 plant species, while the Red Rocks Park remains a famous tourist landmark with its huge outdoor concert venue, the ‘Amphitheatre’. A Rock and Roll Museum, restaurants and hiking trails can also be found at the park.
Another must visit is Denver Zoo with its collection of over 144 endangered species. LoDo, an exciting part of town with its restaurants, bars and nightclubs, is also a worth visiting. Fulfil your shopping fantasies at the popular and bustling Market Street.
