The Mesa Verde National Park is a major attraction and a World Heritage Site which features several ruins of settlements of the ancient Pueblo tribe. The place also consists of fabulous cliff dwellings, hiking trails and camping grounds. The Chapin Mesa Archaeological Museum which displays fine artwork is also located here.
Entertainment for all ages is the unusual canopy tour ride called the Soaring Tree Top Adventures. Visitors get to climb harnesses and ride atop cable cars through lush forests.
