Estes Park Aerial Tramway is a fun ride up the mountain for great views of the Estes Park. These are small trams, and the windows are too high for young children. However, one can lift the children under the six years old to see the amazing view. The trams run continuously and the ride itself is fast. Designed and built by Robert Heron, the tramway was open to public in 1955. And since then, it has safely carried over 3 million people to the Prospect Mountain summit. The tramway is still owned and operated by the Heron Family.
