Located on the River Big Thompson in Larimer County is the city of Estes Park. This city has a population of approximately 6,000 residents. The city was founded in 1859 by Joel Estes.
Estes Park experiences cool winters and relatively warm summers. July and August are the warmest months of the year with a maximum average temperature of around 26°C.
