The Estes Park Museum was founded in 1962 by a group of volunteers. The purpose of the museum is to collect, interpret and preserve the local history and to present many exhibits, events and programs. This is for educating and beneficial of the residents as well as visitors of all ages. At present, the director of the museum is Betty Kilsdonk, who, along with her staff and volunteers present an exciting journey of the museum for the visitors. Apart from local history exhibits, there are some fund raising activities held here.
