The Peak to Peak Scenic and Historic Byway was established in 1918. It passes through some of the most sought after vacation spots in Colorado. This includes the Rocky Mountain National Park, the Golden Gate Canyon State Park and the Central City. The byway also passes through some of the ghost towns in Colorado. This spectacular route offers a close up view of the Continental Drive. Through the route, which starts on State Route 119, it offers many attractions for all.
