Evergreen: Attractions and more...
Dedisse park can be described as one of the ‘Denver Mountain Parks’ situated in County of Jefferson, Colorado. Its original name was ‘Eden Park’. The name ‘Dedisse’ has been derived from ‘Julius C. Dedisse’. There was a competition held as to whether this mountain ranch was better than ‘Lookout Mountain’ or not. ‘Lookout Mountain’ , however, emerged victorious in this. Still, Eden Park wasn’t forgotten by fans of Mountain Park. ‘Dedisse Park’ got established in 1920s after creation of Denver. In the year 1925, ‘Evergreen Golf Course’ was constructed. It features rustic ‘Lodge keys’ on Green restaurant which was designed by none other than Jacques Benedict. The present scenario is such that Dedisse park has been listed on ‘National Register of Historic Places’.
