Tourist Guide Fountain

Fountain or The city of Fountain is situated in El Paso County in Colorado of United States.

Fountain was named as All American City in the year 2002. Fountain ha a painful history.  The bad incident happened during the 1880 when a freight train was carrying large number of explosives and had head on collision with a passenger train. Although the accident didn’t kill much people but three people could not saved.

Apart from this recently the town has developed into urbanization and industrialization and giving opportunities to many people. Fountain was also selected as America’s Millennium City by the New York times. And at the same time it is the home of Pikes Peak International Raceway.

Set in the midst of beautiful landscape this city draws lots of tourists throughout the year and experiences a pleasant climate.

The population of this town comes to 19,080 according to 2006 census.
