Colorado National Monument is a portion of ‘National Park Service’ adjacent to Grand Junction (Colorado). It’s a ‘semi-desert land’ which is high on Colorado Plateau. This region goes on to host a broad range o ‘wildlife’, inclusive of juniper trees, pinyon pines, jays, ravens, coyotes, and Desert Bighorn Sheep. Activities are inclusive of horseback riding, hiking trails, scenic drives, and road biking all through the park. Magnificent views can be obtained from the trails as well as from ‘Rim Rock Drive’ that goes on to wind along this plateau. Book Cliffs lie in the vicinity. One can also find the biggest ‘flat-topped mountain’, i.e. Grand Mesa over here.
Feature attraction of this place is ‘Monument Canyon’ that happens to run through park’s width. Moreover, it’s inclusive of rock formations like ‘The Kissing Couple’, Independence Monument, and ‘Coke Ovens’.
