The Colorado National Monument is a unit of the national park system. It is a spectacular area of twenty thousand acres of steep walled red rock canyons which are located in the western side of Colorado. This monument attracts around 500,000 visits each year. The Colorado National Monument association is a nonprofit organization along with the National Park service started various activities at the Colorado National Monument.
