Grand Junction is a great place where one can explore the prehistoric past. There is a museum called the museum of Western Colorado’s Dinosaur where the visitors can get up close and personal with the dinosaur skeletons and some realistic robotic dinosaur. For those who want to actually see the tracks can hike at the Trail through time in the nearby Colorado Canyons Conservation area. This is a easy 1.5 mile hike which can take him past an active dinosaur quarry.
