Greeley city is a Home Rule Municipality and a county seat too. It is considered as the most populous city of Weld County, in Colorado. Greeley is located at 49 miles to the north-northeast of the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. This city is also the 12th most populous city in Colorado and the most populous city of Weld County.
As per the United States Census Bureau, Greeley has a total area of 30.0 square miles, out of which 29.9 miles are of land and 0.1 square miles are of water. Greeley is bordered on the south side by Garden City and Evans town. And these together collectively are referred as Greeley.
As per the 2000 census, Greeley had total estimation of 76,930 people, out of which 27,647 were households and 17,694 were families residing in the city.
