Roosevelt National Forest
The Roosevelt National Forest is located in north central of Colorado. The forests and the grassland is spread over 1.5 million acres of land and extends almost to the north side of the Wyoming border and to other nearby areas too. The forest includes short grass prairie which is to the East side of I-25. If a tourist is planning his visit to the Roosevelt National Forest, he can make sure to check out the Visitor guidelines for knowledge on recreational activities and for safety and exciting places to visit.
Centennial Village Museum
Centennial Village Museum is an outdoor museum and interprets the settlement history of the city, Greeley and also the rest of the Weld County from the period 1860 to 1920. This museum was opened for the general public in 1976. It is considered as one of the four museum facilities which is operated by the City of Greeley Museums. Centennial Village is a good place for lots of special events and festivals. There are also summer classes for children and such tours in this village.
