Housed in Old Denver and the Rio Grande Train Depot, the Montrose County Historical Museum was founded in the year 1968, the museum retains its old flavor with featured items like mining equipment, doll collection and a unique collection of Native American cultural artifacts. A research library contains photographs and newspapers from 1896 to 1940.
