Box Cañon Falls Park
Box Cañon Falls Park is Ouray’s naturally formed wonder and was formed while the gushing waters of the Canyon Creek eroded a narrow and deep boxed canyon. The trails can be accessed through the southwest corner of the town.
Ouray County Museum
The Ouray County Historical museum aims at showing its visitors the incredible history of Ouray’s mountain community. Built in 1886 with the help of mine owners and businessmen. The museum houses Historical exhibits of different types, books and Victorian exhibits.
San Miguel River
San Miguel is the only undammed and free flowing river in this region. The fishing in this area depends on snow pack and run-off. The river is easily accessible through road and serves to be a great place to find hatches of caddis, stoneflies and midges.
